グッドデザイン賞大賞が発表されましたね。
2016年のグッドデザイン大賞（内閣総理大臣賞）は
多面体図法による大きさや形の歪みをおさえた世界地図図法
「オーサグラフ世界地図」が選定されました。
16世紀より400年も使われてきたメルカトル図法の大きな特徴は、
角度が正しいこと、すなわち十分狭い範囲だけを見ると形が正しいことですが、
一方で緯度によって縮尺が変化し、特に高緯度地方は著しく拡大されてしまいました。
それに対して、各地域を限りなく歪みの少ない形と面積比率で表現したのが
「オーサグラフ図法」だそうです。
世界地図の新スタンダードとして日本科学未来館に採用されたり、
2015年からは高校の地理の教科書にも掲載されているようです。
私たちにとってはなじみ深いメルカトル図法の世界地図ですが、
これからの子どもたちには、
世界地図といえば「オーサグラフ図法の地図」
となっていくのかもしれません。

I think what you composed made a great deal of sense. However, what about this? what if you were to write a awesome headline? I am not suggesting your content isn't solid, however what if you added a post title to possibly get folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You might glance at Yahoo's front page and note how they create article titles to get people to open the links. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get people interested about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
